Get ready - we're launching in June!

March 23, 2011

We have a new launch date! It's time to rev up (or re-start) our engines and get moving on our think content so that we'll all be ready for the mid-June launch of Think.stedwards.edu.

My associates in IT's Training group will be providing both training and working sessions to help you build out your sections of think.stedwards.edu.

Think Trainings will be an hour-long workshop lead by a trainer, providing an overview of the site features and adding/editing content, with 30 minutes to an hour of Q&A/work time at the end.

Think Work Sessions are free periods where contributors can work in the training room and have access to a trainer for any questions.

Registration via http://frc.stedwards.edu/workshop is required for both types. You do need to register for the sessions if you plan to attend.

Joana Trimble and Megan Garza will conduct the trainings and be available for general questions and content entry issues.

Think training will be offered during the first two weeks of April. This training will be very similar to that offered last fall; if you took that training and feel comfortable, you do not need to take training again.

Think work sessions have been set up for April, May, even June for those tying up loose ends! Note that you must have already been trained to use the think site as an editor or contributor prior to a work session.
