Residence Life announces the three winners of the "Living Green" Essay Contest. Students were asked, "What are things you are doing now to be eco-friendly and how do you plan to continue to "live green" after you graduate?" There was a strong number of participants and the competion was tight. The winners for this year's contest are:

• 1st place: Renee Chambellan: "Environmental Practicality in a Slumbering, Convenience Driven Society"
• 2nd place: Darron Spohn: "Living Green"
• 3rd place: Jacqueline Jacot: "Keeping My World in a Book"

Prizes included first choice in on-campus housing assignments for the 2012-2013 year, eco-friendly school supply bundle, and gift certificates.
