Committee for Multicultural Advancement (CMA)

The purpose of this committee is to create a community that understands the vibrancy of the diversity at St. Edward’s. This committee's goal is to provide financial opportunities for students to educate the campus on multiculturalism and diversity. One way we will achieve this goal is by funding diversity programming at St. Edward’s University.

Objective

To discover and report on the needs of students of under-represented populations in order to serve as a bridge between them and administration. We will attain this through student focus groups, panel discussions, educational programs, and with the motivation of speakers.

Goal

At the end of each academic year, CMA will present to the administration a written report on what students think members of the St. Edward's community can do to help make the campus a cohesive diverse community.
