SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CURRENT UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Noyce Scholarship

Up to $31,000 of Noyce Scholarship money is available to math or science majors interested in pursuing a career in the classroom. In addition to receiving financial support, recipients will be mentored by university faculty and master teachers. The scholarship is open to sophomores and juniors. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and must have junior standing by the start of the Fall 2013 semester.

Faculty Scholarship

Scholarship consideration is limited to full-time students enrolled in the Undergraduate College.  Applicants must have at least a 3.5 St. Edward’s cumulative grade point average and have successfully completed at least 15 St. Edward’s University credit hours by the end of the Fall 2012 semester.  In addition, they must be registered for at least 15 St. Edward's University credit hours for the Spring 2013 semester.

A link to an online application will appear in eligible students' EdWeb accounts in early December.  Awards will be offered for use in the Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 semesters specifically and require full-time enrollment in each term.

Brown Scholarship

Scholarship awards ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 are available for the 2013-2014 academic year. Award consideration is based upon past commitment to community service, academic excellence and a community service project proposal for one of the following periods of time:

• Fall Semester 2013
• Spring Semester 2014
• 2013-2014 Academic Year

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 St. Edward’s cumulative grade point average and have earned at least 33 St. Edward's University credit hours by the end of the Fall 2012 semester.  Submission of a community service project proposal is required as part of the application process.

Applications for the 2013-2014 Brown Scholarship will be available in early December. 

Service Scholarship

Service Scholarships are available to traditional undergraduate students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the area of community service on or off campus since they first enrolled at St. Edward's.  Applicants must have at least a 2.75 St. Edward’s cumulative grade point average and have successfully completed at least 12 St. Edward’s University credit hours by the end of the Fall 2012 semester.  Additionally, they must be registered for at least 12 St. Edward's University credit hours for the Spring 2013 semester. 

Applications for the 2013-2014 Service Scholarship will be available in early December.  Awards will be offered for use in the Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 semesters specifically and require full-time enrollment in each term.
