AWARDS:
Awards will be equal to the cost for tuition for one graduate semester hour during the term of award.

CRITERIA:
Students who wish to apply for the Presidential Fellowship must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and completed at least 6 graduate hours at St. Edward's University by the application deadline, April 1. Students who are newly admitted into the Graduate program or who will not complete 6 Graduate hours until the end of the current term are not eligible to apply at this time. Award also requires a graduate GPA of 3.5 or better.

Fellowships will be awarded on the basis of the quality of the applicant's essay.

AWARD PROCESS:
Applications will be solicited, received and processed each term for the following term by Student Financial Services. Applications will be reviewed and recipients selected by the Presidential Fellowship Committee.

DEADLINES: Apply for Fall Fellowship after Feb. 1
Fall candidates: April 1
Spring candidates: Nov. 1
 

ESSAY GUIDELINES:
Essays should be at least one page in length (200 minimum words-300 maximum words).
