Faith & Service
The Faith & Service Living Learning Community is a new, student-initiated opportunity for upperclass St. Edward's students to explore their faith and give back to the community while living and learning together in Lady Bird Johnson Hall.
Community members will work individually and with the group to do service projects, including working with the Social Justice Living Learning Community, for first-year St. Edward's students. Students will enroll in a common course in the fall, and continue their in-class experience with a 1 credit seminar in the spring. And, LLC participants will gather weekly for a homemade community dinner.
- Open to all sophomores, juniors and seniors, regardless of faith background or major
- No previous living learning community experience required
- No extra cost to participate
Students interested in applying should complete the online application, as well as have two St. Edward's University community members--1 faculty or staff member, and 1 fellow student--complete a reference form. All application materials are due by 5PM on Monday, February 4, 2013.
