Citation Appeals for Faculty & Staff
The University Police Department's Chief of Police considers citation appeals from university employees.
1. Employees who receive parking citations will have 10 days to appeal. This may be accomplished by logging in to the employee tab in myHilltop and following the “Request a Parking Permit or View/Appeal Citations” link within 10 days of the violation date. Employees receiving violations for no permit may present proof of payment or receipt of a current permit to the University Police Department located in room 114 of Woodward office building.
2. Once the 10-day appeal process has expired, the citation fee will be payable by credit card by logging into myHilltop, https://myhilltop.stedwards.edu navigating to the Employee tab, and clicking on the “Request a Parking Permit or View/Appeal Citations” in the Employee Quick Links section.
3. Continued violations of the Traffic and Parking Regulations may result in notification of the employee’s supervisor, disciplinary action, towing of the vehicle and revocation of on- campus parking privileges.
4. If a vehicle is towed, it is the driver’s responsibility to pay any fees or fines assessed by the tow company. St. Edward’s University is not responsible for any damages or loss caused by unauthorized parking.
