Transfer Orientation Program 2013

Session Date: August 19, 2013

Check-in is from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Ragsdale Center, second floor, and each session lasts until 5 p.m

Early Advising and Registration

Transfer students who wish to secure classes prior to the Transfer Orientation sessions may do so in early advising and registration, July 24–Aug. 2 and Aug. 12–13. To take advantage of this earlier registration opportunity, transfer students must first complete the steps for enrollment. Upon completion of these steps, students will receive information needed to make an early appointment with an advisor. Students who are unable to participate in the early registration period must come to the Transfer Orientation session on Aug. 19 in order to meet with an advisor and registerfor fall classes.

IMPORTANT: Advising and evaluation of credit will be based on the official transcripts received. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm the arrival of transcripts prior to advising and registration.

Placement Testing

Placement testing before classes begin may be required for students with no prior college-level credit in English or math. Discuss your specific placement and anyrequired testing with your advisor.
