Important Information

Spring Orientation for all new and readmitted students is Friday, Jan. 9. To register for the session, please call 800-775-6755, or log in to  “myHilltop," or email myHilltop@stedwards.

During Orientation students will receive general information about the university and the new semester, as well as meet with an academic counselor to discuss classes and register for the spring semester. Parents and other family members are welcome to attend the Orientation program.

Check-in runs from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center, and the session will last until 6 p.m. Students who plan to move on campus may do so on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015. International students can move in on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015. If you already have a housing assignment, please come to Orientation check in to receive your keys the morning of January 9th. If you have not received a housing assignment, Residence Life staff will be at check-in the Ragsdale Lobby.

To sign up for Orientation or take advantage of early advising and registration, click “Log in to myHilltop”. Your username and password for this site are included in your acceptance letter. In order to sign up for Orientation, you must submit your $150 non-refundable enrollment deposit. (If you submit your enrollment deposit online, please allow one business day before registering for Orientation. This ensures that your deposit is processed and that you can successfully access the online Orientation registration form. Housing
International students living on campus please report to your assigned residence hall on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.

Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is available to international students. A shuttle will run on Jan.7 at 2p.m. and 8p.m.  You can reserve your space here:  http://think.stedwards.edu/internationaleducation/international-student-services

Placement Testing
Placement testing before classes begin may be required for students with certain scores on entrance exams or no prior college-level credit in English and math. Students will be notified by their academic advisor at check-in if they need testing.
