Miles for a Mission

October 28, 2012 8:30-10 a.m., Campus
Run Start Time: 8:30 a.m. Walk Start Time: 8:33 a.m.
Miles for a Mission is a non-competitive fun run/walk that supports university outreach programs providing students with opportunities to enrich their education and improve communities, in addition to joining campus life.
St. Edward's University will be overrun with zombies to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Miles for a Mission and the university's Common Theme of How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse: Dystopia and Sustainability.
Participants will navigate a series of challenging obstacles throughout the 5K course in an attempt to reach the finish line-all while trying to avoid the undead. There will be a series of man-made and natural obstacles that will be physically challenging, but not impossible. Work as a team. You may need to climb, crawl, duck and dive your way to the finish line.
Participants who cannot or choose not to finish an obstacle will still be able to finish the race.
Appropriate costumes are highly encouraged!
Due to the nature of the course, the zombie "attackers" and for everyone's safety, NO DOGS are allowed on course.
Online Registration has CLOSED. Please register on-site in Hunt Hall Cafe on Sunday at 7:45am.
Thank you!
The proceeds from the event benefit Campus Ministry outreach programs including:
- Alternative Spring Break
- International Immersion
