Focus:

Direct service with high school students

New York City has a long tradition of welcoming immigrants to the United States. VOYAGES (Viable Option for Young Adults to Grow Excel and Succeed) Preparatory High School is a collaboration between Queens Community House and the NYC Department of Education.  The school serves students who are at least 16 years old, who were struggling to earn credits in a traditional high school environment.  We help students to graduate through providing individualized attention and support. You have the opportunity to meet other young adults from around the world and from the inner city, help tutor students, counsel upperclassmenon the college admission process and explore the sights and sounds of The Big Apple.
