This fall, St. Edward’s University welcomes 120 new international students to campus – an institutional record and increase over last year’s 101 new international students. Of the 120 international students, 72 join our freshman class of 780 students.
These students hail from 25 countries and can speak 27 languages other than English.

Our new international students come from Angola, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, and Venezuela.
At St. Edward’s, providing global experiences on campus in Austin, or at an international partner campus, is part of the university’s strategic effort to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of a 21st century world.
