Goals
The Kozmetsky Center hosts varied programming - organized conceptually around one-year rotating themes - with university faculty, visiting fellows and the world's leading experts. It welcomes short-term visitors as resident fellows. The events and activities sponsored by the center stress critical-thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. This programming also helps students understand their relationship with the rest of the community and equips them to take an active role in shaping society. The center addresses these issues by engaging in policy discussion, producing and disseminating evidence along with providing education, and training with an interdisciplinary approach. The result is a dynamic and multi-faceted intellectual community that fosters creative dialogue about themes that are of critical importance for the contemporary world.
