Life, AD&D, and LTD
St. Edward's University provides Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and Long Term Disability (LTD) Insurance.
Life insurance pays benefits if you die from most causes. AD&D benefits are paid if your death is accidental or you are severely injured due to an accident and suffer a loss specified in the policy, such as loss of a limb or eyesight. In addition to the Basic Life and AD&D, you may purchase supplemental life insurance and AD&D for yourself and/or your dependents.
The university also provides Long Term Disability (LTD) which offers a source of income if you experience a long-term illness or injury that prevents you from working.
