The $10 fee is waived for classification changes student to faculty/staff.
All card replacements are issued in the Card Office during regular business hours.
Q. Can I change the name on my card?
A. It is the policy of the Office of the Registrar at St. Edward's University not to change the official name on academic records for current students without
1. a marriage license with the new name specified
2. a divorce decree specifically stating that the student's married name revert to the name used prior to the marriage and identifying the name, or
3. a court order specifying a name change and identifying the new legal name of the individual.
If, upon entry to the university, the student's name is determined to be incorrect, the name will be changed to the student's legal name. Name changes for university employees must go through the Office of Human Resources.
