Program Summary: In its fourth year, Jumpstart recruits high performing high school students in the Austin Independent School District (AISD and Central Texas ) to enter the teaching profession. Jumpstart encourages first generation college-seeking and underserved students to earn a college degree with teacher certification through an accelerated teacher pipeline program using articulation agreements among AISD,Del Valle, Pflugerville, Eanes ISD, Austin Community College, Huston-Tillotson and St. Edward’s University.
