The Center for Teaching Excellence promotes engaged and effective college teaching that cultivates significant learning for St. Edward's students. The CTE fosters a campus culture that values a diversity of learning, teaching, and disciplinary styles; promotes honest discussions of teaching; assists St. Edward's faculty in developing courses; facilitates the exchange of ideas about teaching and learning among faculty; offers resources for faculty, collaborates with Instructional Computing to promote technology resources for teaching; and recognizes outstanding teachers with teaching awards.

Peer-to-Peer Teaching Exchange
New this spring, the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Teaching Exchange Program was created to give St. Edward's instructors the opportunity to learn about teaching from one another and to build mutually supportive relationships with colleagues. The program is open to all St. Edward's faculty -- both full-time and adjunct.
