Windows XP Security Center

Connecting to the St. Edward's network from a Windows computer requires that the Windows Security Center be turned on and reporting that the Firewall is on, that Windows Updates are current and that a valid AntiVirus application is installed and working.

  1. Click on Start and go to Control Panel.

  2. Click on Security Center.

  3. The Security Center status should be green.

  4. If the Security Center is turned off, go to the left and click on the link: Change the way Security Center alerts me.  All checkboxes should be checked.
