Installing VPN Agent

1. Launch a browser and go to https://vpn.stedwards.edu
2. Enter your SEU credentials
   
3. Select the Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent
   
4. Depending what browser you are using it will either download the app to your download folder or it will ask you to run the app.
   
5. Click Run
   
6. Click on Next
   
7. Click on Next
   
8. Click on Next
   
9. Click on Close
   

Updating Existing VPN Agent to GlobalProtect Agent
 

1. Click the NetConnect icon on the desktop
   
2. Login using your SEU credentials and click Login
   
3. Click on Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent
   
4. Click Run
   
5. Click Run
   
6. Click Next
   
7. Click Next
   
8. Click Next
   
9. Mark the checkbox next to Uninstall SSL VPN and click OK (This is to remove the old VPN agent)
   
10. Click on Close
    

Configuring VPN

1. Click on the GlobalProtect icon on desktop
   
2. Right click on the GlobalProtect icon from the notification bar

   

3. Select Open
   

4. Click on View from the tool bar and select Advanced View

5. Then click on the Settings tab. Enter your SEU credentials. For portal enter vpn.stedwards.edu and click Apply.
   

   *Note: You might get a connection failure with the error message "OnDemand Mode" after clicking Apply. Ignore this message and follow the steps below on connecting

Connecting and Disconnecting

 

1. Right click on the GlobalProtect icon from the notification bar.

   

To Connect: Select Connect

 

To Disconnect: select Disconnect
