FAQ:
Help! I have to use Second Life for class but it's so confusing. Can someone just teach me how to move around and change my avatar's clothes?
Faculty can request a trainer to lead a workshop on navigating Second Life to train students onthe mechanics of Second Life. In this workshop, we will cover navigating around the World, interacting with objects, customizing clothes and avatar appearances, chatting and using Second Life URLs to teleport different places. Any St. Edward's student, faculty or staff member can request one-on-one training to cover this content as well.
I'm a faculty member and I would like my students to use Second Life for my class. Who can I speak to about using Second Life in the classroom?
Contact the Faculty Resource Center for Second Life classroom assistance. Our staff will work one-on-one with you to come up with Second Life solutions tailored to your course needs.
