The university's Internet Service Provider, XO,  has announced an emergency maintenance outage for tonight between 10 pm and midnight.  The impact on university access to the internet should be brief with outages limited to around a minute.  

Students on campus
Students on campus should be prepared to briefly lose connection to non-SEU servers.  On campus services such as EdShare, Blackboard and Zimbra Webmail should not be affected.

Off Campus 
Students and faculty off campus may experience a brief interruption in access to Blackboard or Zimbra web mail.  Please be careful about starting online quizzes during this time as the interruption may cause you to lose your connection to Blackboard.  If you do lose your connection, wait a minute and reconnect to Blackboard or Zimbra.
