HACU Representative On-Campus September 6 & 7 to Promote Internships & Scholarships

Mr. Jorge Burwick, Assistant Director of Scholarships & Student Services for the Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU), will visit St. Edward’s University on Tuesday, September 6 & Wednesday, September 7 to promote HACU’s internship and scholarship programs. 

Each semester, the Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU) National Internship Program provides selected students with:

  • Paid internships with federal government agencies and corporations.
  • Airfare to city of internship site
  • Housing in city of internship site

 

While selected students may be placed in a variety of cities across the United States, most internships are located in Washington D.C.  All students of all races that attend St. Edward's University are eligible to apply.

Special note: HACU is especially interested in recruiting students in the School of Business, particularly Accounting and Finance students.

Mr. Burwick will also be available to answer questions from students in the lobby of the Ragsdale Center:
  • Tuesday, September 6, 11:15 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.  & 5:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 7, 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
