Intramural Sports provides a comprehensive sport and leisure program for the students, faculty, and staff of St. Edward's University. The IM Sports program includes full length sport leagues, tournaments, and special events housed on the SEU Campus. The IM Sports program is designed for competitive or recreational players wanting to get involved on campus and meet other people while engaging in healthy competition with fellow Hilltoppers. Some examples include Flag Football, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, amongst others.
The Fitness program focuses on providing additional instruction to the St. Edward's community for getting the most out of a workout. The program includes the GroupX classes, St. Edward's version of group fitness - classes include Yoga, Zumba, Abs and Tone, amongst others. Personal training and nutritional guidance are also made available through the Fitness program.
The Club Sport program houses all student organizations which are recreational or sporting in nature. Included in this group are the university's competitive Club Sport teams which compete against other universities and colleges in Texas and across the nation. A sampling of Club Sport teams includes Lacrosse, Soccer, Rugby, and Rowing/Crew, and Swimming.
The St. Edward's Aquatics program is housed in the recently renovated Recreation and Convocation Center pool. The Aquatics program is home to open lap swimming, GroupX Aquatics classes, Personal Training, Swim Lessons, and the St. Edward's University Club Swimming team.
Informal Recreation is the drop-in use of Campus Recreation facilities and activities where users are encouraged to make their own fun and fitness! Activities include weight training, cardio equipment, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, indoor soccer, and much more!
