With the Fall 2011 semester just around the corner, we thought we'd take some time to outline the plan for the GroupX Fitness Classes for the upcoming semester.
In order to continue offering these classes for the St. Edward's University community, Campus Recreation will be adding a semester fee for attendance for these classes. This fee will be nominal ($25 per semester) and is designed exclusively to offset the cost of GroupX instructors.
The cost of the pass for our GroupX classes totals less than $1.78 per week, and includes attendance to up to 12 sessions per week. This Fall, we've added our Boot Camp classes to our calendar, and will bring back Zumba, Kickboxing, Abs and Tone, and Yoga. With the purchase of this pass, you'll have access to these classes for the entire length of the semester.
Classes will be held in the Alumni Gym, except for the Boot Camp classes which will meet at the Recreation Field.
How the GroupX Pass Program works.
In order to participate in GroupX classes at St. Edward's, participants will need a GroupX pass. Passes are sold year round at the Recreation and Convocation Center in the main admin offices during normal business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) as well as at the RCC reception desk after hours.
Cost for the semester is $25, and includes access to ALL classes (up to 11 per week). We currently accept cash and checks only.
After purchasing your GroupX pass, simply bring it with you to the reception desk at the RCC before attending the GroupX class.. You will be presented with a Class Pass (available up to 30 minutes before each class). Take this pass with you to the GroupX class location and present it to the Instructor - the pass will serve as your ticket into the GroupX session.
Passes are passed out on a first come, first served basis.
Parcipants without a pass will NOT be granted access to the class.
