Cesar Chavez March and Celebration
Cesar E. Chavez inspired millions of people across the country of all races and nationalities to engage in social and economic just for farm workers. His life work to empower the poor and disenfranchised is a model for all. His legacy is one of workers rights, civil rights, environmental justice, equality for all, peace, non-violence, children and women's rights.
Each year the city of Austin in conjunction with local organizations and educational institutions coordinate a city-wide march in Cesar E. Chavez's memory. The College Assistance Migrant Program at St. Edward's University
