Global Initiatives

Transforming lives and communities around the world through education and service.

The global business initiatives of the School of Management and Business include tranformative study abroad programs for students, faculty, and global partners. Students learn about economic, political, social, cultural, and global aspects of business. More importantly, they learn compassion and competence in the global arena.

The School of Management and Business partners with universities, non-profits, organizations, multinational businesses, international governments, and independent companies to teach students value-based education by joining the classroom with relevant projects that fuse academic study with hands-on experience. Through intercultural experiences, business, factory, and company visits, students learn about the challenges of global business transactions from business executives. Students return from their short-term study abroad trips with a sense of accomplishment, higher self-worth, and a perspective on life that cannot be taught in a classroom. Through this active participation in the global society, students are better prepared to become our next generation of leaders.

Our study abroad programs enrich the soul, educate the mind, and build lasting values.
