BSS and Human Trafficking

·“Last Sunday, BSS Professor of Global Studies, Kay Firth-Butterfield and human trafficking activist, Dottie Laster spoke at a forum about Human Trafficking which was organized by the Methodist Church at North West Hills. Despite there being services of memorial for the 9/11 victims about 200 people chose to attend. What is more they donated over $600 to help 3 victims currently being helped by the Bernardo Kohler Center.  SEU alum, David Walding, has been Director of the BKC for the past 10years.  A living example of the SEU Mission Statement he helps victims obtain their “T” Visas.
