SAINT CATHERINE MEDAL

Sponsored by Kappa Gamma Pi, National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society, this annual award honors one student each academic year who represents the high ideals of a Catholic college education, demonstrates leadership, and serves the university or community in an extraordinary manner. Neither high academic achievement nor eligibility for membership in KGP is necessary.

During the first half of each spring semester, faculty and staff members are invited to nominate students to be considered for this award. The nominees will be asked to submit a personal statement and resume and these materials will be reviewed by a committee comprised of individuals from each school at St. Edward’s. One recipient will be chosen and the medal will be awarded during Undergraduate Honors Night at the end of the spring semester. Visit the Kappa Gamma Pi website for more information about the medal or contact the Office of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs for more information about the nomination process.
