Computer Purchasing - Faculty Refresh Guidelines
Full-time, contracted faculty receive a new computer and one peripheral per the standard list from IT Visiting Professors receive a new-to-them computer and peripheral provided by either IT or the school
Full-time, contracted faculty receive a new desktop* every five (5) years paid for by Academic Affairs
Full-time, contracted faculty receive a new laptop every three (3) years paid for by Academic Affairs
Visiting Professors receive a new desktop every five (5) years (or per School policy) paid for by the School
Visiting Professors receive a new laptop every (3) years (or per the School policy) paid for by the School
Staff computers are supplied and refreshed by the individual Schools
Each year, IT develops and distributes a standard computer/peripheral pricing list. Academic Affairs agrees to pay for the standard pricing. Any overages are to be paid for by the individual Schools.
