The interim vice president for academic affairs (VPAA) reports directly to the President, serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet, and is responsible for both the University’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The associate vice president for academic affairs, and the Deans of the Schools of Behavioral and Social Sciences, Education, Humanities, Management and Business, and Natural Sciences report to the VPAA, along with the Dean of New College.

The associate vice president for academic affairs oversees student academic issues and policies, facilitates delivery of the support services necessary to the efficient operation of the college and university and retention, and assists students with academic issues including exceptions to policies. Confirmed cases of academic dishonesty are also reported to the associate vice president.
